©Draffectill means: Bill in love with a female Dragon(DRAgon+AFFECTIon+bILLie). But it's also a general word for dragonXhuman love

The idea of describing it in a novel was born at the beginning of 2006 but it officially surfaced to the public in 2010 as a pairing_{(straightaway it'd got its definitive name)}. The concept belongs to *Aniusia483 who is an only owner of it.

Curiosity:
The first time I thought about human X dragon pairing happened earlier - when I was a child: I bought a sculpture of a dragon (it was my first figure of it) and I joked aloud that it's my boyfriend and then I thought it would be amazing if he's alive...
I still wish dragons existed as the kind of creatures I imagined them^^

Dragons: written with "D" instead of "d" are the kind of dragons I created.
They have got soul, and they are sure about it.
They aren't animals even biologically because they don't have got any excretory system, so their body doesn't follow one of the basic bodily functions characteristic to all of the animals. And they are eternal - they can't die from senility. The only way to make a Dragon dead, is killing them.

Take part in Draffectionates' (

) art contest featuring their shapeshifting alter-egos

In very short:
Your task is to draw Anna

and Tom

as their shapeshifting OCs (you choose one of available species for each of these two, interspecies combinations are allowed, which makes 36 possible combinations to choose from

) in some kind of love scene (it doesn't matter if it's a cute or erotic depiction, mature and adult contents are allowed too).
Remember to keep their characters recognisable

Some refs are still getting advanced (some parts added^^), still incomplete; I'm also considering to add a sample of cartoony versions (faces) of canids(for sure if any), felines and maybe gryphons - just to mark some additional characteristics that are invisible in realistic shapes

And it does, but I warn you: it is not your typical for-kids fairy tale where everything's clear. I am not responsible for headaches or tears.

Don't be afraid: the original Draffectill is not a kind of zoophilia, because Dragons* aren't animals. What's more, in opposite to humans, Dragons are unable to be cruel sadists. They are more humane than humans are.

SUBMISSION RULES:

Considering the origins of the name of our group (Dragon=affection+Bill), to be accepted into our group's gallery, your work has to contain:

Billie (or BillxD) with female dragon (if you don't like Aryena - check the frame above -, you can draw another female dragon, because the name of our group contains the general word, not her name; but don't mate Aryena with any other creature - she is Billie's only); OR another human with another dragon

But both species must be included

Their relationship has to be love. Any kind of love is allowed, doesn't matter is it ex. a classical friendship or an eros. They just can't be enemies.

(or) Their hybrid child*.
* try to mix the genes, not just to add wings to a human or a human face to a dragon. Try to find the middle between the species.

Each kind of mature content is allowed(But remember what DA says about). But remember - if your work is sexual themed, there must be a true and deep love visible in the pic! - Not a joy only. Draffectill isn't a game and isn't an one-night-stand, it's a true love.

I can accept the vice-versa version, when the human^* is female and dragon is male... The same with gay couples. We can treat Billie&Aryena as a precursor pair of this kind of interspecies love, which opened the way to another ones, not as the only one^^
*human as well as elf, vampire, and another humanoids that look in over 90% like human x)

NO dragon x dragon as well as human x human relationships. Even if one of the two dragon characters is in their dragon form and originally is a human. Same with vice versa. Everyone (including people who don't know your fantasy) has to see an interspecies relationship

The character can't be solo (without their partner). Exception: if the character is clearly a child whose parents are a dragonXhuman couple.

This group is about couples so the relationship has to be between not more than two creatures ("two is a company, three is a crowd"). (If you think about a creature with more than one head(like ex. hydra), you have to know that it's not an ONE dragon, so I can't accept it).
Exceptions: if you draw the couple with their offspring; if it's clearly visible that the 'third characters' are not as strong in the relationship as human & dragon (ex. human & dragon are lovers and other characters are just their friends, like 'friends of the family') - No triangles!

More than two characters: Intraspecific parents(dragons or humans) taking care of children of the other spiece(humans or dragons) are allowed. Same with one human/dragon carer with children of the other spiece(dragons/humans). !The age difference between the carer(s) and children of other spiece should be clear.

E.g.:

We can't accept a devianion which doesn't follow the upper rules of our group's submissions.

NIce group idea but I will have to disagree with you on the part in your group introduction that states that dragons are more humain then humanity is. I disagree with it compleatlly. On the grounds that Dragons can be inhumanin to each other and to humanity by principe. For not all dragons are humain that must be true and the like.

Want to thank for the feature. I allow because even though canon Pern lore conflicts with a few ideas in this group, there really is a wonderful bond between the dragon and rider, and even though I put a disclaimer on that pic, in general, I think the idea of dragon human romance is pretty cool. I have actually drawn some stuff with concepts like this in mind, maybe I should submit a few later.
